Gospel of John Movie
ONEMOVEMENT Bible Church invites our entire church family to a special showing of the movie Gospel of John on Sunday, December 28, 2025, immediately following Worship Service. After faithfully journeying through the Gospel of John together, we will gather to visually experience God’s Word by watching The Gospel of John movie, covering Chapters 13–21. These chapters reveal Christ’s love, servanthood, sacrifice, resurrection, restoration, and commissioning of His disciples. This time of fellowship will offer meaningful reflection, spiritual growth, discussion, and unity as we celebrate all God has taught us. All OMBC members and guests are encouraged to attend.
Pastor Appreciation: Why and How
October is designated as Pastor Appreciation Month. October 26th is dedicated to honoring our pastor and his wife. Be sure to mark your calendar!
Our pastor and first lady are a source of strength, guidance, and support. They go above and beyond to care for our needs, both spiritual, emotional, and physical.
This month and Pastoral Appreciation Day in particular, provide an opportunity for you to let them know how much you appreciate all they do for you and your community.
Suggested ways are:
- Give them the requested $100 per working family
- Give them a gift card to their favorite restaurant or store
- Present them with a plaque, certificate, or another award
- Take them out for lunch or coffee
- Write a letter of appreciation and have others sign it
- Give them tickets to a play, concert, or another event
- Buy them a book or resource that they’ve been wanting
- Have the children make cards or gifts for them
- Offer to provide housecleaning or yard service for their family
- Give them a certificate for a vacation or getaway

This month, we are reading the Book of the Month - Luke 1. Learn in Luke about the birth announcements. The focus is on how Zechariah and Elizabeth found out about the birth of John the Baptist and the announcement of the birth of Jesus to Mary.

February gave us time to focus on all phases of Black History. We celebrated the music, the food, the dress, the culture, the science, and the many facets of Christian background.
